چکیده
Oil methanolysis over modified CaO catalysts was studied to assess the catalytic performance and define an appropriate kinetic model. by commercial glycerol a deep eutectic solvent (DES), choline chloride : (ChCl Gly), obtain catalytically active complexes of glycerol. The main goal investigate effect obtained on reaction rate fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) content describe variation triacylglycerol (TAG) conversion degree during time. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) applied confirm formation with or glycerol-based DES. Different catalyst loadings (0.5, 1, 5 % oil weight) methanol-to-oil molar ratios (6 1 12 1) were for investigation sunflower at 60 oC. Two models employed yielding parameters, which depended loading ratio. Both showed valid applicability describing kinetics reactions catalyzed both (the mean relative percent deviation lower than 10 %).

Production of sunflower oil methyl esters by optimized alkali-catalyzed methanolysis
We report the optimization of sunflower oil methyl esters (SOME/biodiesel) production via alkaline catalyzed transesterification of crude sunflower oil and subsequent physical and chemical characterization. The optimum conditions elucidated for the methanolysis of sunflower oil were found to be: methanol/sunflower oil molar ratio, 6:1; reaction temperature, 60 1C; and NaOH catalyst concentratio...

Biodiesel synthesis using K2CO3/Al–O–Si aerogel catalysts
In this study, catalysts for fatty acid methyl esters (FAME or biodiesel) synthesis with K2CO3 as the active component on an alumina/silica support were synthesized using the sol–gel method, which was followed by drying the “dense” wet gels with supercritical carbon dioxide to obtain the aerogels. The prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD analysis, FTIR spectroscopy and N2 physisorption ...
متن کاملMethanolysis of Triglycerides Using Jatropha Oil and Koh Catalyst
In this study, Jatropha curcas oil was used as feedstock for biodiesel production by alkali-catalyzed methanolysis. To establish the optimum conditions for biodiesel production, effects of certain factors were investigated, these factors are oil-to-methanol molar ratios (1:4 1:8), KOH catalyst concentrations (0.5 1.5% w/w oil), reaction temperatures (50 70oC), and reaction times (55 90minutes)....
